Can someone send me a plasmid for a histone-GFP or other probe of that sort that works well for live cell and fixed cell nuclear imaging? We want to do an experiment in our lab class where we can follow nuclear number in myosin null cells. We have struggled with PI staining (the students can't seem to keep the cells on the coverslips through the procedure) and this may be a good alternative.

If anyone is interested, the web site for our Dicty lab course is not nearly complete, but at least up and running:

Comments and suggestions welcome.

Thanks- Dave
