I came back from Europe today and found the sad news.
Hard to believe that Bill Loomis
has gone.
 
My discussion with Bill was mainly
on the genome analysis while I was involved in cDNA project of Japan years
ago. He looked like a tough father at first but actually was like a patient
mentor. Most impressive, he was watching the future. It is a huge loss for the
community and I really miss him.
