Wanessa,
I have used two different kits for RNA extraction and both the kits give high yields of total RNA.
1. SV Total RNA Isolation System from Promega Inc.
2. AurumTM Total RNA Mini Kit (Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc., Hercules, CA).
Best,
Sandhya.

Subject: [DICTY - 737] Comercial kits for RNA extraction

 Dear all,

Does anyone have suggestions for good commercially available kits for RNA extraction? I'm using a NucleoSpin kit from Macherey-Nagel, but yields (at least in my hands) are normally bad (i use 5-10 million cells/prep).

Thanks a lot for the help,
Wanessa de Lima
