Rich Kessin's 2001 book on Dictyostelium is available again from  
Cambridge University Press. Books are printed on demand and not as a  
press run, so they will never go out of print. Oh Brave New World!  
Rich, by the way, is not dead or even retired. He's working on another  
book - not, alas, about Dicty.
