Hi-
We normally use 300 - 1000 ng/ microliter for RT-PCR, going lower should not be that much of a problem, and we use
Maxima H Minus Reverse Transcriptase from Thermo Fisher

Subject: [DICTY] Reverse Transcriptase for low RNA concentration

Dear All,

Does anyone have already used the SuperScript™ II Reverse Transcriptase for RT-PCR experiments from total extracted RNAs of dictyostelium discoideum?
Which Reverse Transcriptase could you recommend to me if I have a low concentration of total extracted RNAs (less than 100ng/microl)?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Best,

Otmane
