Dear colleagues,

Two announcements from NBRP-nenkin, the Japanese resource
center:

1. As you may already know, our resource distribution policy
will change from April 1st with regard to the cost-covering
system.

We will have to charge the (actual) distribution expense to
the users. This change is related to the public hearing for
budget allocations by Japanese Government last year, which
has been reported in November issues of Nature
 (e.g. see

However, the overall cost you will be asked to cover is not
high but could be lower, because we are going to use EMS in
place of FedEX wherever possible. Although we cannot accept
credit cards now and have to ask you to use wire transfer
for payment, we are working on this issue and hope the
credit card system to be available soon. 
Requests received on and before March 31 will be sent by the
current system.

2. The services on our website will be temporarily suspended
during March 14 09:00 - 21:30 (Japan time), due to scheduled
maintenance.
