Hi Muatasem,

I have used AurumTM Total RNA Mini Kit (Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc., Hercules, CA) to extract RNA from Dicty cells. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and you should get DNA free total RNA.

We are interested in RNA isolation from different developmental stages of Dictyostelium in particular slugs and later stages for the purpose of cDNA synthesis. Any suggestion of methods and/or Kits will be greatly appreciated.
