Dear DictyCommunity: I’m much obliged for any advice: I’m trying to
find a way to reduce adhesion between Ditcy e.g. AX4 in the vegetative
phase. One thought is to add EDTA as Gerisch shows us, but we’re
concerned that that this will reduce the viability of cells. Another
thought is whether there’s a mutant e.g. sadA- lacks hydrophilic
substrate adhesion. In there a mutant that has reduced cell-cell
adhesion? Thanks for reading!, Carl
