I deeply yearn for Mineko and Yasuo, who were an ideal pair. Their presence is greatly missed, and I hope they find eternal peace.

His enduring legacy includes ultrastructural work on migrating Dicty cells as well as its pinocytosis, early cell-cell heterogeneity and differentiation. Prof. Maeda was one of the early csm researchers here in Japan and the founding pillar of the community. He was a charming man and loved by his disciples and colleagues. We will miss him greatly.
