One to avoid for Dicty is the Lonza 4D Nucleofector, we bought one for human cells, it is awesome for that, so a student spent a month or so trying to get it to work for Dicty with no success
cheers

Subject: [DICTY] Electroporator: a clear winner ?

Dear members of the DictyList,

We are currently investigating our options regarding our electroporator: maintenance or purchase ?
While knowing that potentially damaged parts are not manufactured anymore for our model...

[current one: GenePulser II from Bio-Rad]

Which one have proven efficient and reliable in your hands ? or do you have any recommandations on some to avoid for working with Dicty ?

Thanks in advance for your answers,
Best Regards,

Romain
