We had success in Lesly Temesvari's lab with detecting a single, N-terminal(sorry, not C-terminal) HA tag with Zymed, Rabbit anti-HA (Invitrogen Cat.# 71-5500). It works well with whole cell lysates on Western blots. We tried several, and this is the only one that worked well for us. We used it at 1:125.

Subject: [DICTY - 390] HA tags

Dear All,

We've had trouble detecting a single C-terminal HA tag in transformed
cells, both in cell extracts, and to a lesser extent, with partially
purified proteins. We think it may be the primary antibody--there are
many sources. Any observations and help would be greatly appreciated.
