Dear colleagues,

Northwestern is closely monitoring developments relating to the possibility of a government shutdown on October 1, 2023. To date, we have not received guidance regarding procedures but expect agencies to communicate specific instructions if Congress is unable to resolve the issue. Based on activity during previous government shutdowns, operations should continue as normally as possible until further guidance is provided.
