ANNOUNCEMENT

On Friday, March 26, in conjunction with the Midwest Microscopy and Microanalysis Society (M3S), NU's Biological Imaging Facility (BIF) is sponsoring a symposium on super-resolution microscopy and live-cell imaging. It is open to all researchers at Northwestern University.

It will feature a wonderful lineup of speakers and topics for this event.

Bo Huang (University of California San Francisco) – STORM: super-resolution imaging with twinkling molecules

Comert Kural (Harvard Medical School) – Studying clathrin dynamics in three dimensions

Diane Lidke (University of New Mexico) – Correlating membrane receptor dynamics with signaling using single quantum dot tracking

Keith Lidke (University of New Mexico) - Real time analysis in single molecule super-resolution with examples from STORM and fluorogen activating peptide methods

Patricia Wadsworth (University of Massachusetts Amherst) – Mitosis and cytokinesis: insights from imaging live cells

More information is available on our website (<http://www.northwestern.edu/bioimaging/>http://www.northwestern.edu/bioimaging/).

Registration is required to attend this program. The cost for registration is low or free for current M3S members, $5 for student non-members, $20 for regular non-members. Lunch is included.

To provide an accurate estimate of the number who will be attending, we appreciate early registration. A complete program will be available next week.
