Lasergene 11 Sequence Analysis Software

The NU Office for Research and the Feinberg School of Medicine are pleased to announce that they have jointly licensed the Lasergene (DNASTAR) analysis software for all investigators at NU. The Lasergene Core Suite includes the following modules:

EditSeq, GeneQuest, SeqBuilder, MegAlign, MegAlign Pro, PrimerSelect, Protean, SeqMan Pro, Protean 3D, GenVision and SeqNinja

Licenses may be purchased for $100 and are valid for one year. For Evanston investigators, a license includes a single installation (sharing on one computer; per NU OR policy). For Chicago investigators, a license permits installation on more than one computer within a single laboratory group (per FSM policy). These rates offer a substantial savings from the retail rate ($3400 per single installation license).

For more information or to purchase licenses please contact the Next Generation Sequencing Core facility ([log in to unmask]).
