Please recall the site visit rehearsal tomorrow (March 19) in 2058 Cook Hall (see attached agenda). Please encourage your students/postdocs to attend. The NSF site visit team will be meeting alone with our students/postdocs for lunch on April 16, so it is important that they have a comprehensive understanding of the MRSEC and their role within it.

Subject: MRSEC Annual Report and NSF Site Visit Preparation
Dear MRSEC Faculty,
Please review the following items and attachments regarding the MRSEC Annual Report and upcoming NSF Site Visit:
(1) Please review the attached MRSEC Annual Report, which was successfully submitted to NSF a couple days ago. The site visit team will have access to this report in advance of the site visit, so we need to be ready to defend its contents.
(2) We will have a site visit rehearsal on March 19 in 2058 Cook Hall (see attached agenda). While you are welcome to attend the entire rehearsal, it is most important that you are present to give feedback to your IRG leader (please also encourage your MRSEC students/postdocs to attend the relevant portions of the rehearsal).
(3) Please recall that the NSF Site Visit will occur on April 16-17 (see attached agenda). Unless you are on the executive committee, you only need to attend the talks and poster session on April 16. Please plan on being present for the entire day to ensure that we have strong faculty representation throughout.
(4) Please review the attached list of site visit panelists, so that you will know who will be reviewing us on April 16-17.
Please feel free to share this e-mail and attachments with your MRSEC students/postdocs. I want them to be fully aware of what’s happening since they need to meet separately with the site visit team during lunch on April 16. Please also make sure that your MRSEC students/postdocs are present for the site visit talks and poster session on April 16.
